Your monthlet.ai account (signing in)

Open Settings (⚙) → Account to sign in to monthlet.ai.

• How it works: enter your email address, press "Send code", then type the 6-digit code you receive. There is no password. The screen is the same whether or not you already have an account.
• The code is valid for 10 minutes. If it does not arrive, you can send a new one after 60 seconds (check your spam folder too).
• You can also sign in with your browser: press "Sign in with your browser" on the same screen and the monthlet.ai sign-in page opens in your default browser. When you finish signing in there, monthlet is signed in too. Finish within 10 minutes (if it runs out, press the button again to start over).
• Signing in does not change where your notes are stored — they stay in your folder.
• Signing out: press "Sign out" in Settings (⚙) → Account. The sign-in saved on this computer is removed and it is also invalidated on the server.
• While you are signed in, an account icon appears at the top right of the sidebar (clicking it opens this tab).

• monthlet AI: in Settings (⚙) → AI, choose “monthlet AI” to use the AI without preparing an API key (sign-in required). If you choose it while signed out, the sign-in screen opens. If you have not set any API key of your own, monthlet AI is selected automatically when you sign in. How it is currently offered (an invite-only beta or a trial) is shown next to the option. How much you have used appears on the Account tab in Settings next to the amount granted, in mT (how monthlet AI measures usage). When less than a fifth of your allowance is left, the chat shows how much remains. If you use it all up, you can keep using the AI by adding your own API key. If a request stops partway, the changes made so far stay in your notes.
